PRACTICE EXPERIENCE
Ayca Bengu Koksal is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s business immigration and corporate law practice groups. As part of the firm’s immigration practice group, Ms. Koksal assists the attorneys with complex business immigration matters including H-1B and L-1A visa cases and employment-based green card cases. As part of the firm’s corporate practice group, Ms. Koksal assists the attorney with a variety of corporate matters including drafting corporate documents such as articles of incorporation, bylaws, operation agreements, share purchase agreements, transfer of membership agreements, shareholder agreements, and commercial contracts
Prior to joining the firm, Koksal worked at different law firms in Istanbul, Turkey as a corporate lawyer and international arbitration lawyer. She advised both Turkish and foreign companies on corporate and litigation/arbitration matters. She represented clients in numerous project finance and mergers & acquisition deals. She also represented clients in various commercial disputes before state courts and arbitral tribunals. Ms. Koksal received her LL.B. (Juris Doctor equivalent) degree from Galatasaray University School of Law in 2013. She earned an LL.M. (Master of Laws) degree in International Business and Economic Law with a focus on International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution from Georgetown University Law Center in 2018
