GANI KUSEYRI

PRACTICE EXPERIENCE

Gani Kuseyri is a Foreign Legal Consultant in the firm’s international law and commercial law practice. He has a focus on matters relating to Turkey and the surrounding region. He possesses an understanding of foreign legal, political, business and regulatory practices in the region based on his experience working in Turkey. He has assisted numerous Turkish companies in establishing a presence in the U.S. that is in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. He is also involved in the management of non-profit organizations. He advised on matters relating to corporate formation, non-profit compliance, and tax law. He drafted many legal memorandums and corporate due diligence reports.

Prior to joining the firm, he interned at a bank in Massachusetts and performed legal research on banking regulatory matters while pursuing his master’s degree. From 2013 until 2015, Kuseyri worked at different law firms in Istanbul, Turkey. He advised both Turkish and foreign companies on corporate and litigation matters. He represented clients in various hearings at civil and criminal courts. Kuseyri received his LL.B. (Juris Doctor equivalent) degree in 2013 from Istanbul University. He earned an LL.M. (Master of Laws) degree in Banking and Financial Law from Boston University in 2016.
